The Internet
Fine Art Finder is a global art/antiques trade directory and database
which allows:
- Art connoisseurs, collectors, the general
public and the like to "explore" worldwide for Auctioneers,
Art and Antiques Dealers,
Art and Antiques Service Providers, Art
Related Organisations, Museums,
Historic Buildings, Art Museums/Galleries etc.
- Art and Antiques related
outlets and concerns to promote
themselves within the Finder Database and therefore throughout the
world-wide web.
A variety
of "search strings" and "search engines" are provided
to interrogate the database, the most comprehensive being the Location
Search String. This search route is also being specifically developed
to support art/antiques tourism and contains such supporting information
as maps, where to stay, where to eat etc. For this reason the
Finder database also lists non art/antiques related concerns and business
types such as hotels, restaurants, other attractions etc.
